REAL TALK. My first day with Oxinity.

I have to be honest with you guys, I haven't been this excited in a long time. Yesterday, I managed to teach 5 classes & that was only my first day in Oxinity.
Of course they weren't MY classes yet, they were someone else's. However, every single one of the students was so welcoming (for some of them it was also their first contact with Oxinity!) and I couldn't help but go to bed smiling from ear to ear. They were so excited and participated continuously - and as a result, everything went so smoothly. Both the one on one classes and the group classes went great, I was positively surprised by how nice it was to teach a group of 3 people. I was a bit reluctant at first, thinking it might be a little tricky to teach more than one person in front of a screen without that "human" connection that in-person classes offer. To my surprise, it was even better than some of the face-2-face classes I've taught before joining this community! and yeah, that is another good point we to talk about.

This is a real community.

People at Oxinity have been there for me as much as they possibly could. From helping me get the training to get acquainted with the system to applying to be a so-called "autónomo" for the first time (& let me tell you, having to deal w/ burocratic stuff is the worst of my nightmares!)... and even though being an "autónomo" often comes with that you're-all-on-your-own connotation, I have felt more accompanied than ever throughout the whole process yes.. I'll let you know for sure when I come out the other way though!

I can't wait to keep growing and meeting new people who are just as excited as I am to be in this position and to have been given this opportunity. There is no doubt I will keep studying better ways to update my profile on all places possible so that more people get to know and become aware of the advantages of the Oxbridge system (both as a teacher and as a student!).

Love always,

Sofía.
