Different things we call each other in the English language
In the English language I like the different labels friends call each other when they are referring to someone, or trying to get someones attention. There are many different things people call each other, it could be depending where they are from!
Mate
EXAMPLE - How are you today mate?
It is English slang for the word friend, often used in Australia or the UK.
Bro
EXAMPLE - Do you wanna do something tonight bro?
Often used to label close friends, and normally a cool friend.
Lad (man)/Lass (woman)
EXAMPLE - Let's go to the pub with the lads!
A lad is a male who specialises in creating and distributing exquisite banter, a good friend. It is the same for lass (woman)
Geezer
EXAMPLE - He's a good geezer.
A geezer is a descriptive word in the UK which is used to define a mans characteristics. A geezer will be found usually out side a pub with a pint in his hand on match day.
Honey/Hun
EXAMPLE - Can you help me with the cooking honey?
Honey is always there for someone who needs her help, she can give good advice she's really supportive in whatever decisions you make. Definitely fun to be around. She has a lovely personality and can always have a good laugh with her.
Darling
EXAMPLE - Good night darling.
Used as an affectionate form of address to a beloved person.
Babe
EXAMPLE - Hey babe, what are you doing tonight?
A sweetheart, good looking, nice person, great body, someone you really like, loving term.
