Saturn's Moons
V. Dione and I.
Saturn’s Moons aren’t any beads or trinkets; they are gems. Precious gems. No one cares if they’ve been polished, smoothed or carved to suit one’s likings for they are gems and they just are. They can be the way they are. They already are. Despite changes, they still are. And so they will be forever after as thus they are now, virtuous in their core, incorruptible. Moons in my universe, walking eternity, muses and saviours and dragons and fire: these all they are.
Dione and I had gone to the pool at siesta time on Wednesday. After that we would all meet and go out. Wednesday was excursion day in the village. No classes in the afternoon. The water in that pool would never warm up: a sharp chill that gives your brain a shock and wakes you up. Dione and I like swimming, but she would last in that cold water way longer.
Having talked to Dione helped me. She reminds me of yet another moon, her certainty and clarity disguised by her youth. Dione, systematic and steady, a sable of pure sense cutting through sensitive blizzard even when hitting a low finding certainty and clarity.
And those eyes.
Yet Dione’s voice shows hints of a stirring wound that wants out bad trying to find a crack in rock-solid reason –but quietly. I recognized that voice –I had heard it in her once, and in many. How one fights a silent one, I don’t know. But she does for she is a sable-like decision maker.
And those eyes.
Dione did what I should have done and didn’t do –I thought, and said. And thus we shared pieces of two lives closely in the isolating distance of these days plus thousands of miles and made those pieces one.
And it’s been sunny in Ireland for the last 20 days. Really? Of course. And then Dione and I just laughed. And that laughter felt like having the ability to warm up that water in the pool on summer Wednesdays when we would go out after our swim. Pool sessions in which the main characters could have easily been princesses in tulle dresses if only they hadn’t been too busy putting ideas together for future business projects with market segments and platforms and products and empires of creation.
Full of vision, and full of heart.
Dione -a success of raw ideas that come naked and sable-like, in tulle disguise.
Dione says
When I say “Language”, what comes to your mind? How would you describe what “Language” is to you?
Language is the means of a better communication, not that without speaking the language we can’t communicate but language helps us have a more accurate verbal communication.
What does bilingualism/ multilingualism feels like? Can you tell us what languages you speak or know level regardless?
The ability to be confused in more ways imaginable. The ability to relate. The sense of belonging. The feeling of knowing you can never know enough.
I speak Persian, English, Spanish and Mandarin.
Writing Canvas I : Try to describe what your ideal place -where you would live, the one you would share with people you love- would be like with as many words as you want.
It would be a green house with a big garden in the heart of a cosmopolitan city, a place where nature would be at my door step and at the same time whenever I decide, I could be anonymous in the city.
Writing Canvas II: Recommend any type of art and tell us why -a poem, a novel, a film, a speech, music, someone’s work- anything you consider art.
Slam poetry is life.
and the first thing that came to my mind is “If I should have a daughter” by Sarah Kay.
"If I should have a daughter, instead of Mom, she's gonna call me Point B,
because that way she knows that no matter what happens,
at least she can always find her way to me.
And I'm going to paint solar systems on the backs of her hands,
so she has to learn the entire universe before she can say,
"Oh, I know that like the back of my hand."
And she's going to learn that this life will hit you hard in the face,
wait for you to get back up just so it can kick you in the stomach.
But getting the wind knocked out of you is the only way to remind your lungs how much they like the taste of air.
There is hurt here that cannot be fixed by Band-Aids or poetry.
So the first time she realizes that Wonder Woman isn't coming,
I'll make sure she knows she doesn't have to wear the cape all by herself.
Because no matter how wide you stretch your fingers,
your hands will always be too small to catch all the pain you want to heal. Believe me, I've tried."[…]
but I also thought of this, so I’ll have to go with both, you choose ;*
"People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, you know exactly what to do.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person/people (anyway); and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant."

Given your experience as a woman and the role of women today, what would and/or what wouldn't you recommend to a 15-year-old woman? What words would you use to get your message across?
Go after what you want, take it easy and relax, hold your head up, be confident and strong and don´t let anything ever change that. You are brilliant just the way you are and you need to believe that with all your heart and soul.
We, Lifenguage Women is an account of real Lifenguage events in which their protagonists answer the same five questions to give the reader a very tiny glimpse of who they are -as there wouldn’t be enough room in the cloud for who they really are. They are an individual universe in themselves, they can't fit in clouds.
