New Year’s resolutions, I hate them and you want to know why? You put a lot of pressure on yourself to make immediate changes overnight and later you feel guilty when you don’t complete your list. Some people start of the year great following their resolutions and slowly as the year progresses, they completely forget about their goals. Also, it’s a lot of stress at the end of the year when you reflect on all the things that you have and haven’t done. How many people actually complete their resolution? The answer is not a lot. I haven’t made a resolution in a few years but, I did something different instead.
So, what should you do if you want to make resolutions but not a new year’s resolution?
1. Make small changes! No need to stress about big changes, start small
2. Be realistic! No one is going to change overnight
3. Don’t let the pressure get to you!
4. Be patient! Everything takes time
5. Don’t give up!
