Here are some questions you can ask your students about their quarantine experience:

What have you stored up on?
Would you consider yourself a hoarder?
What experience have you had grocery shopping?
Have you started a to-do list of things to get done at home these days?
If you could be under quarantine with any 3 people, who would they be and why would you choose them?
How have your sleeping habits changed?
Have you been binge watching any TV series/movies (in English or Spanish)? 7. Were you and your neighbors applauding the health care workers last night from your windows?
What have you seen from your windows these days?
What reasons have you had to go out and what was the experience like?
How are your friends and loved ones during this quarantine?
How have you been practising your English these days?
How have you been spending your time at home?
Have you ordered any groceries online? Have you had any issues with that?
Have you cancelled or started up any monthly subscriptions? (Gym, Netflix)
Have you seen any changes at the supermarket?
Were you the one who bought up all the toilet paper at the supermarket?
Do you have to go out to work? How do you feel about that?
Do you know any health care workers? How is life different for them?
Are you taking care of any elderly folks? What's that like?
Do you have to do any shopping for them?
What are the chances that we've caught the virus? Do you think we'll catch it at some point?
How long do you think this will last?

Teaching English to children is...... a mixed bag of emotions!

I find it very gratifying when a young student 'gets it' . A child who has been so frustrated but put their heart and soul into practicing their Achilles’ heel. But, why do some just give up, they do not go the extra mile, it doesn’t matter. Or does it?
